Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Relam, operated by Skytells, Inc., handles personal information when you use the service.

Last updated: September 21, 2026

Who operates the service

Relam is developed and operated by Skytells, Inc. ("Skytells," "we," "us," or "our"). When this policy refers to the service, it means the Relam websites, applications, APIs, and related offerings we make available to account holders and their authorized users.

Governed by design

Privacy at Relam is not an afterthought bolted onto public consumer APIs. The product is built around governed infrastructure: identity, ownership, permissions, plan access, memory settings, connected tools, sharing, and model routing are enforced on the server before a request is fulfilled. We do not rely on the browser alone to decide what a user may access or what data may leave the workspace.

That governance applies across the service—not only to AI requests. Account administration, file storage, collaboration, billing, support, and integrations are handled through the same controlled operating environment rather than ad hoc client-side behavior.

Information we collect

We collect account details you provide (such as name, email address, and organization information), content you submit to the service (prompts, files, messages, projects, and generated output), billing and subscription records, support communications, and technical information such as device, browser, IP address, and usage events needed to operate, secure, and improve the platform.

How we use information

  • Provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.
  • Route, authorize, and fulfill AI, search, storage, and connected-tool requests according to your settings and entitlements.
  • Process subscriptions, payments, and customer support.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, security incidents, and service failures.
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

How AI requests are handled

When you use AI features, relevant prompts, files, conversation context, and technical metadata needed to complete the request may be processed by Relam and the providers required for that request. Processing path depends on the model, feature, and deployment you use. In every case, the request passes through Relam's governed environment first.

Skytells-native models. Requests routed to Skytells models are processed on Skytells private network infrastructure. From the moment Skytells receives the request content for inference, that content is handled inside our controlled internal environment and is not exposed to the public internet for model processing. This private networking approach is how we run flagship Skytells models without sending that inference workload through mass-market public model APIs.

Third-party models. When a request requires a third-party model, we route it through enterprise deployments operated by leading cloud providers—for example, Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and comparable governed offerings—not through the commercial API products sold directly to the general public for consumer chat applications. Provider handling of data sent for inference is governed by our agreements with those providers and their applicable terms.

Enterprise governance does not mean your data never leaves Relam. It means access, routing, and provider selection are deliberate, server-checked, and documented. See our Subprocessors page and privacy-first overview for more context.

Connected services and integrations

If you connect supported third-party accounts or authorize tools, we process only the information needed to provide the integration you enabled. Write actions and sensitive operations are subject to approval and account-bound access rules. You can review and manage connected tools through account settings.

When we share information

We share information with service providers that support hosting, authentication, databases, object storage, payments, analytics, search, media generation, and AI processing. Categories of providers and how they are used are described on our Subprocessors page. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a corporate transaction.

We never sell your data or use it to train AI models.

Retention and security

Your saved information supports your use of the service while your account is active. Following account closure or a deletion request, we delete the affected personal data within 14 days, subject to applicable legal requirements. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, private networking for Skytells-native model processing, and contractual requirements for enterprise AI providers. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection. You can manage certain information—including memory, connections, and sharing—through account settings. See our GDPR page for additional European privacy rights and our California Privacy Notice for California-specific disclosures.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service or law changes. Material updates will be identified by a new date on this page. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to our team through the contact page.
