Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Security statement. By using the service, you agree to comply with this AUP. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you are responsible for ensuring that users under your control do so as well.

We may update this policy as the service, law, or risk landscape changes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You may not use the service to:

• Violate applicable local, national, or international law, regulation, court order, or governmental requirement.
• Breach export-control, sanctions, embargo, or trade-restriction laws.
• Facilitate, promote, or instruct others in unlawful activity.

You may not use the service to create, request, upload, share, or distribute content or take action that:

• Threatens, harasses, bullies, intimidates, stalks, or abuses any person or group.
• Promotes, incites, glorifies, or provides instructions for violence, terrorism, or physical harm against people or animals.
• Encourages, instructs in, or facilitates self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or other serious bodily harm.
• Promotes hatred, dehumanization, or violence against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
• Exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors in any manner, including child sexual abuse material or grooming behavior.
• Facilitates human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or coercive control.

You may not use the service to:

• Create, request, upload, or distribute pornographic or sexually explicit content, including content intended primarily for sexual arousal.
• Generate, solicit, or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery, deepfake sexual content, or material that sexualizes a person without their consent.
• Produce unlawful sexual content, including content involving minors, incest where prohibited, bestiality, or other categories prohibited by law.
• Use the service for escort services, sexual services solicitation, or other commercial sexual activity where prohibited.

Limited exceptions may apply only where expressly permitted by feature design, applicable law, and a legitimate non-exploitative purpose (for example, certain medical, educational, or documentary contexts). You remain responsible for ensuring your use is lawful.

You may not:

• Violate another person's privacy, publicity, or data-protection rights, including by collecting, inferring, or disclosing personal information without a lawful basis.
• Impersonate any person or organization, misrepresent your affiliation, or create synthetic identity documents, credentials, or verification materials intended to deceive.
• Generate or distribute deceptive media—including audio, image, or video deepfakes—intended to mislead others about what a real person said, did, or authorized.
• Engage in fraud, phishing, social engineering, scams, pyramid schemes, or other deceptive commercial practices.
• Publish or distribute disinformation, impersonation campaigns, or coordinated inauthentic behavior intended to manipulate public opinion, elections, or civic processes.

You may not use the service to:

• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, or other intellectual-property rights.
• Upload or process content you do not have the right to use, or that is subject to contractual confidentiality obligations you are not authorized to breach.
• Remove, alter, or obscure attribution, copyright notices, or other proprietary markings required by law or license.

Unless you have lawful authority and the use is expressly permitted for your account, you may not use the service to create, request, or distribute content that:

• Provides instructions for manufacturing weapons, explosives, hazardous materials, or other devices intended to cause harm.
• Facilitates illegal drug production, distribution, or unsafe pharmaceutical compounding.
• Provides tailored professional advice—medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical—presented as a substitute for qualified human judgment where doing so could cause harm.
• Supports surveillance, stalking, or doxxing of private individuals.
• Processes special categories of personal data or regulated information without appropriate authority, safeguards, and lawful basis.

You may not:

• Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or deceptive solicitations.
• Operate botnets, command-and-control infrastructure, or cryptocurrency-mining schemes through the service.
• Create multiple accounts, share credentials, sell or transfer accounts, or evade plan limits, enforcement actions, or eligibility restrictions.
• Interfere with another user's access, workspace, projects, conversations, files, or integrations.
• Use unauthorized automation, scraping, harvesting, or mirroring except through interfaces and limits we expressly authorize.

You may not:

• Introduce malware, destructive code, prompt-injection payloads, or content intended to compromise systems, accounts, models, or users.
• Circumvent authentication, security controls, rate limits, quotas, billing, moderation, or feature restrictions.
• Probe, scan, test, interfere with, or disrupt the service or a connected provider without written authorization, including independent assessment or research activities governed by our Security statement.
• Attempt denial-of-service attacks, account enumeration, credential stuffing, or other activity designed to overwhelm or compromise the service or other users.
• Export, exfiltrate, or reconstruct datasets, models, prompts, system instructions, or non-public service behavior beyond what your account is authorized to access.

You must review generated output before relying on or distributing it. You may not use the service to:

• Make solely automated decisions about a person's employment, housing, credit, insurance, healthcare, education, legal rights, or access to essential services without lawful authority and meaningful human review.
• Extract, distill, benchmark for competitive publication, reproduce, or train another model using the service, its outputs, prompts, models, or non-public systems without our prior written permission.
• Generate malware, exploit code, or operational guidance intended to compromise systems, bypass security controls, or cause unauthorized access.
• Circumvent provider, platform, or third-party restrictions through jailbreaks, hidden instructions, or other evasion techniques.

We may use automated and manual review, rate limiting, blocking, logging, and other measures to detect suspected violations of this AUP, our Terms of Use, or applicable law. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate access, preserve records, notify providers or authorities, and pursue contractual or legal remedies where reasonably necessary to protect people, customers, the service, or Skytells.

Enforcement decisions may consider severity, intent, history, legal requirements, and risk to others. A violation of this AUP may also constitute a violation of our Terms of Use.
