Transparency reports

When reports are published, they will summarize, consistent with legal restrictions:

• The number of government requests received by type (for example, subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, emergency requests, and preservation demands).
• Whether we disclosed information, narrowed the scope, challenged, or rejected the request.
• The number of accounts or customers affected, where reporting is permitted.
• National-security process in aggregated or ranged form where required by law.

No transparency report has been published yet. Statistics will appear here when the first reporting period is complete. Until then, no numbers elsewhere on the site should be treated as operational reporting data.

Reports are published alongside our strict Government request policy, which governs how individual requests are evaluated before any disclosure occurs.
